Completing and Invoicing Appointments

Completing an Appointment

To complete an appointment, swipe left on the appointment and tap on the Complete button.

This will move it into the Completed tab of the appointments list for that day.

Raising an Invoice for a Completed Appointment

Following the completion of an appointment, there are two ways in which you can raise an invoice:

From the Completed appointments tab: Go to the Completed appointments tab and swipe left on the appointment. Tapping the Invoice button will prompt you to confirm the invoice amount. Then tap "Create" to create the invoice.

At this point, you will be asked whether you want to send the invoice to the notification method provided in the customer settings.

  • If you don't wish to send the invoice, you can just tap Cancel – be assured that the invoice has been created.
  • If you want to send the invoice, tap on the SMS, Email, or WhatsApp button that's presented.
    • For SMS, you will need to be using a device which can send SMS messages, such as your company's mobile phone or a Windows computer with Microsoft Phone Link installed.
    • Similarly, for WhatsApp, you would need to be using a device such as a mobile phone or a device which has the WhatsApp app installed.

Raising a New Invoice from Unraised Invoices

You can perform all of these same actions for raising a new invoice in the Unraised Invoices area of Job Plot.

This area allows you to see all of the unpaid invoices on your account regardless of the date of the appointment.

Go to the side navigation bar and tap on Invoices. Here you will see the Unraised and Unpaid tabs.

On the Unraised tab, you may swipe left on each item to raise the invoice in the same manner described as you would in the completed appointment tab of the Planner. The invoice will appear in the Unpaid tab once it has been created.
